Dublin Pride opened a pop up shop on Clarendon Street 10 days before the Pride Parade in 2018. The pop up sold everything from flags to bow ties at the venue.
Jed from Dublin Pride said “We decided this year to experiment with the pop up phenomenon. It’s worked really well for us, it is an opportunity to interact with people we get involved with. It has given us a chance to get our brand out there a little more.”
Being their first ever pop up, they were very happy with the results, Festival Manager Eddie said “Also on the basis a pop up shop allows you to get the information you want about not only your festival, but also your product and brand, and I think that’s what Pride is all about: getting the information of the LGBT community.”
